Tell Me About Your Week
Sure, we can talk about the highs and lows of this week -- everything you achieved, what you missed, or just flat out forgot. But I'll be frank and state that I begin thinking about this specific article on Sunday, knowing it won't be published by me . So consider the post on Sunday of Thursday?
My son (famously known for his questions) asked me when I feel that the day of the week is Monday or even Sunday. Consider this for a little, I will discuss my idea. His queries did make me consider my week, since I've got a program that is different. Does it begin Monday or Sunday?
Monday -- Delegation day. I read over all of my mails and discover new items which ought to be assigned, or want additional info. I will confess, many occasions I begin this on Sunday, but that I never send the mails until Monday morning from respect for the household period of the others (hurray delay shipping!) . When I've meetings coming up, I will get in touch with support meeting times, call in amounts etc..
Tuesday -- Telephone afternoon #1. Ordinarily back to back calls daily. I do not even attempt to get paperwork. That is about as close as I get to paperwork, although I really do keep my calendar open and include jobs and follow ups in the conclusion of every call.
Wednesday -- Focus afternoon . I schedule a telephone and also have been known to turn away my cell phone. That is when I take on jobs that require attention and detail. I will get down, and've received advice back in my Monday delegation emails.
Thursday -- Telephone afternoon #2. Again, usually back to rear calls that are scheduled.
Fri-YAY! (I needed to get it done ) -- Follow up Friday is exactly what I call it. What am I overlooking? What customers want a follow up prospects, accounts that are outstanding? Are there some Monday delegation mails outstanding? Any tasks will probably be on my own Friday plate.
Saturday -- Technology free afternoon (except my kindle, you do not get to shoot my kindle off )
Sunday -- Ahh Sunday. It's my secret (currently obviously not so secret) perform day. I possibly do some composing and prepare for customer calls, examine my strategy for the week. I clean up schedule activities to the week, my inbox. It is probably my favourite work day of this"week". Mails are written by me, but wait for the shipping not to others.
Circling back to my own query does your week begin Monday or Sunday? My vote Monday, similar to a small indulgence, is as my Sunday job time I choose to perform off the radar of anyone.
